It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of our wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Sunday, May 1, 2016, in Inverness Hospital at the age of 79.

Mom was the heart and soul of our family and an inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing her. she was happiest when listening to music, dancing, playing cards and bingo but was the most happiest when spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mom was an avid and dedicated Toronto Blue Jays fan and was so proud of owning an autographed Blue Jays jersey. In addition she cherished her time with her pets Cindy, Ina, Scoot and Molly.

Mom was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Josie Habicht; sisters, Chris (MacIsaac), Carlene (Cameron); brother, Carl. She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 55 years Stan; her children; Brenda Timmons (David), Melinda MacDonnell (Gerald), Wendell (Janet), Todd (Tony Stupich), children in her heart Brian Habicht (Jackie) and Carol Habicht (Bernie Clarke); youngest brother Hal. she is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Tania, Davey, Mandi, Ryan, Liam, Paige,Tara, Mitchell and Ethan; as well as 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation by family request. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.

Funeral mass will be held in Stella Maris Church, Inverness on Wednesday, May 4th at 11am with Father Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery at a later date.
