So sad to hear of Madeline's passing and thinking of you all during this difficult time - I have very fond memories of Madeline's visits at Grammy, Grampy, and Sarah's house.  What a lovely person she was.  Much love to the family.

The days leading up to Mom's funeral on April 29th were hectic but filled with many opportunities for family to gather around meals, music and story-telling, bringing us lots of smiles, laughter and tears. To the many friends, relatives and neighbours, we extend our most sincere appreciation for your kindness expressed in words, hugs, visits, dishes of food, phone calls and the endless messages on FB and e-mails. We know that your memory of Mom will remain with you as they will always be a part of who we are as her family.

I was very saddened when I heard about your mom. I had just worked with her in her villa a day or so before and sat with her for a while so we could calm her breathing. Knowing her since I was just a kid  all I could think of was all the times that I would come to play with Cathy and your mom  always let me come into the house to play. Cath I still remember when you , me, and Michael came down the stairs sliding on blankets or something and Madeline never said a thing. Seeing you all tonight brought back so many memories. Stay strong together and remember every memory you have.... lots of love and hugs to you all.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Madeline's death. It always intrigued me that Madeline and two of her sisters were married to three brothers. I loved it when we got to visit with her and the rest of Mom's family. They would always end up talking Gaelic in front of the children - much to my displeasure and cureosity. She will be lovingly remembered. Love and prayers to you all.

Aunt Madeline always had a smile for me. I always thought it was because I was her godchild but as I grew older, I realized that she had a smile and kindness for us all. She was amazing. Sending prayers and heartfelt sympathy to you all as you go through the difficult days ahead. I am also imagining the warm welcome and laughter Aunt Madeline is receiving in her new home.
