Alice Ida Allen Roberts

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Charlotte Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Alice was born June 13, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio to Henry R. and Mina (McFarland) Allen. She married her one true love, Dewey Roberts, August 6, 1956 in Ohio. She and her family moved from Wilmington, Ohio to Iowa Park in 1980. She was a homemaker with her life revolving around her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, and siblings, Harry Allen, Betty Davis and Flora Sherwood preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Reed of Lubbock, Texas, Diana Smith of New Braunfels, Texas and Gail Gentry of Iowa Park, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.

Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Dutton Funeral Home.
