Alma Joyce Jones Davis

Alma Joyce (Allen) Jones Davis, 83, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church in Electra, Texas with Rev. Darwin Stroud, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Joyce was born April 8, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee to Thomas and Julie (Blackwood) Allen. She married S.E. Jones who preceded her in death on September 24, 2003. She later married William Davis on November 11, 2011 in Electra. She worked in office administration for Vernon College in Vernon, Texas for 10 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Electra.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, S.E. Jones; her parents; five siblings; one step-son, John Davis; and one granddaughter, Melinda Rogers.

Surviving relatives include her husband, William Davis of Electra, Texas; children, Sheila Rogers and Donna Muse, both of Vernon; DeLinda Armstrong of Wichita Falls; Larry Jones of Odell, Texas; Danny Jones of Burkburnett, Texas; Patricia Miles; Joe Davis; and Danny Davis; three brothers, Raymond, Sammy, and Mike Allen; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
