Beverly Gay Scott

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kile Bateman officiating. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Beverly was born June 11, 1949 in Pioneer, Louisiana to Lloyd and Adeline Haire Staggs. She and Kim Richard Scott were married August 28, 1976 in Eureka, California. She was a Therapist Tech and retired from Wichita Falls State Hospital. She was also a member of Evangel Temple of Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Stan.

She is survived by her husband, Kim of Iowa Park; daughters, Farrah Hofmann and fiancé Cody Beavers of Iowa Park, Texas and Mandy Scott of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchildren, Kelly Houston, Vanessa Hofmann, Vincent Hofmann and Victoria Hofmann; mother, Adeline Staggs of Santa Rosa, California; brothers, Phillip Staggs of Iowa Park, Texas, Lloyd Staggs of Chesapeake, Virginia, Michael Staggs of Windsor, California, Jerry Staggs of Wichita Falls and Dennis Staggs of Iowa Park, Texas; 9 nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls, P.O. Box 4804, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.

Beverly suggests in lieu of flowers “do something kind for someone less fortunate.”
