George Wendell Webb

MSGT George "Papa" Wendell Webb United States Air force (Retired) , 76, of Iowa park, Texas, passed away peacefully October 16, 2014 at his grandsons' home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Visitation will be held at Dutton Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 20, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Highland Cemetery with Reverend Dennis Neal officiating.

George was born September 28, 1938, in Brownfield, Texas, to George and Gertrude (Jonas) Webb. He married Marilyn Sue (Paysinger) Webb on Friday, May 27, 1960. George served 20 Years active duty in the United States Air Force and after his retirement in 1993 he spent another 20 years as a civil servant. He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, his sister Glenda Kay (Webb) Huff, and his loving wife Marilyn Sue.

Survivors include his children Michael Webb and Cindi Jones, both of Iowa Park, his grandson Terry and wife Mercedes Jones of Wichita Falls, his grandson Daniel Jones of Iowa Park, his granddaughters, Mandy Garcia of Iowa Park, Angel Ross of Wichita Falls, and Michaela Webb of Wichita Falls, and countless nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

The family of George would like to say a special thank you to the Hospice of Wichita Falls staff and Registered Nurse Ron of Hospice, for their caring, kindness, compassion, and comfort in this delicate time.
