

IOWA PARK – Harold William Lynn, age 87, of Wichita Falls, Texas, and formerly of Iowa Park, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel in Iowa Park, with Sammy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Iowa Park, under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Harold was born October 24, 1923 in Saint Jo, Texas. He married Inez Smith December 19, 1953 in Rankin, Texas. She preceded him in death August 4, 2004. He retired as a driver for Mistletoe Express, and was an Army veteran serving in World War II. He was also preceded in death by his father, William Ira Lynn and his mother, Goldie Jewell (Massey) Lynn, a sister, Gayla Daugherty, stepmother, Lois Lynn Bartosh, and son-in-law, Clay Hammack.
Survivors include son and wife, Harold “Butch” and Jenny Gibson of Waco, Texas; daughter, Julia (Lynn) Hammack of Wichita Falls, Texas; son and wife, Danny and Rhonda Lynn of Mansfield, Texas; son, Rick Lynn of Sherman, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Lareasa and Tim Philpot of Boerne, Texas; grandson and wife, Dustin and Whitney Lynn of Weatherford, Texas; granddaughter, Caitlin Gibson of San Antonio, Texas; great grandson, Austin Philpot of Boerne, Texas; great grandson, Aaron Philpot of Boerne, Texas; niece and husband, Darla and James Jordan of Iowa Park, Texas; niece and husband, Dayna and John Johnston of Wichita Falls, Texas; brother-in-law and wife, Albert and Terry Smith of Broaddus, Texas; brother-in-law and wife, Sammy and Lena Smith of Independence, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Otis Smith of Jackson, Michigan; sister-in-law, Grace McGee of Pineville, Louisiana; sister-in-law and husband, Rachel and Roy Laprairie of Pineville, Louisiana; and 2 cousins.
The family will be at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2011 for visitation.
