Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Electra Memorial Park with Rev. Darwin Stroud officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.
Joan was borne January 27, 1930 in Quanah, Texas to Grover and Helen Park. She married Leonard Poole who preceded her in death and later married Winford Thurman who also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Clifton Pool of Wichita Falls, Texas, David Pool of Wilson, Oklahoma, Weldon Pool of Weatherford, Texas, Tim Pool of Red Springs, Texas, Luan Bruno of Electra, Texas, Sherri Davis of Gresham, Oregon, Janice McNeal of Electra, Texas and Leisha Glover of Newark, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
