Johnny Van Anglin

Johnny Van Anglin, 95, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Life Church of Wichita Falls. Graveside services will follow at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.

Johnny was born August 10, 1924 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Isom and Martha Anglin. He married Ethelene Anglin on December 28, 1946 in Henrietta, Texas. Johnny served in the US Navy from 1942-1945. He worked 15 years for the railroad and at SAFB as a Civil Engineer. He retired in 1986.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Wynonah Laurence; two brothers, Howard and Amos Anglin, and three sisters, Gladys Cowan, Ina Moody, and Myrtle Anglin.

Surviving relatives include his loving wife, Ethelene Anglin; son, Harden Anglin and wife Janet of Wichita Falls; two daughters, Dena Dreadin and husband Jerry of Amarillo, Texas, and Sarah Brott and husband Bob of Salado, Texas; one son-in-law, Orville Laurence of Houston, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Bettye Hall of Boerne, Texas. Special thanks goes to three amazing Hospice nurses, Shelly, Ashley, and C.C.
