Kathy Fay Via

Kathy Fay (Goforth) Via, 59, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 in Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Stan Horton officiating. Graveside Services will follow in the pavilion at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Kathy was born March 4, 1953 in Wichita Falls to Oscar and Lorene (Hartmangruber) Goforth. She worked for many years as a production worker at Siemens and also worked at The Place in Wichita Falls. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her great grandbaby and would help anyone who needed it. She is preceded in death by her father, her twin sister, Karen Entrekin.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Lorene Goforth of Wichita Falls; her loving son, Jimmy Via of Iowa Park; parents of loving great grandson, Karisa Via and Austin Heard of Wichita Falls; grandson, Chris Via of Iowa Park; great grandson, Braiden “Boogie” Heard of Wichita Falls; one sister, Darlene Guthrie and her husband, Ronnie of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Jimmy Goforth of Iowa Park and Mike Goforth of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to IntegraCare Hospice. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the funeral home.
