

Kendell J Hill, a beloved resident of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 27, 1935, in Iowa Park, Texas, to Clarence and Trixie Hill, Kendell led a life characterized by hard work, honesty, and generosity.
Kendell attended WF George High School, where he began to cultivate the qualities that would define his life. In 1958, he founded his own electrical contracting business, which he successfully operated until his retirement in 2000. Kendell's career was marked by a deep sense of devotion and resilience.
On April 21, 1967, Kendell married Cecilia Murguia. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, filled with square dancing, camping, and raising chihuahuas. Kendell was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family. His interests included deer hunting and working on his property.
Kendell was known for his compassion, wisdom, and thoughtfulness. His kind-hearted and humorous nature touched all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Hill, daughter Danea Robinson, and brother Howard Hill.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children Cheryl House, Sylvia Murphy and husband Tom, Kendell Hill II and wife Susan, Maxine Bowser, Clarence F Hill and girlfriend Nichole Schroeder. He is also survived by his grandchildren Deanna House, Cally Reed, Bobby Huddleston and wife Sarah, Tischia Halencak and husband Jerry, Kayla Whitaker and husband Austin, Trevor Lindsay and wife Erin, Gina Meissner and husband Steven, Amy Groves and husband Briton, Geoffrey Hill and wife Mary Margaret, Lauren Cruickshank and husband Scott, Terry Wilson, and Cody Wilson, along with 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and friends.
Kendell's love for his family and his sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
