Maggie Dale Kenyon Simmons

Maggie Dale (Kenyon) Simmons, 67, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Maggie was born November 8, 1943 in Corsicana, Texas to Andy and Effie (Hall) Kenyon. She married Jerry Simmons on November 13, 1963 in Henrietta, Texas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed Bingo, and loved reading and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth Simmons; and two brothers, Tommy Kenyon and Ervin Kenyon.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Jerry Simmons of Iowa Park; three children, Pamela Bell, Janice Mowery, and Keith Simmons, all of Iowa Park; three brothers, Jimmy Kenyon, Donald Kenyon, and Bobby Kenyon, all of Iowa Park; one sister, Ruth Cole of Wichita Falls; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Fallls, PO Box 4804 Wichita Falls, Texas 76308. Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the chapel of Dutton Funeral Home.
