Mary Adeline White Davis

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church of Electra with Pastor Darwin Stroud officiating. Burial will be in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Mary was born May 23, 1937 in Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada to Joseph and Nora White.

She and William E. Davis were married January 25, 1955 in Stephenville. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Electra, Texas. She had worked as a nurse’s aide and in the laundry room for the Electra Health Care Center for several years.

Her parents, a brother, Lloyd White and sister, Anita White preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, William of Electra; daughter, Patricia Miles and husband Charlie of Burkburnett, Texas; sons, Joseph Davis of Electra, Texas, Danny Davis and wife, Melissa of Amarillo, Texas, and John Davis and wife, Martha of Vega, Texas; grandchildren, Mindy Dutton and husband, Cody of Iowa Park, Texas, Brandon Davis and wife, Katie of Electra, Texas, Dayshannette Davis of Amarillo, Texas, Destiny Davis of Amarillo, Texas, Kirstie Sullivan of Vega, Texas and Michael Davis of Vega, Texas; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Bill White of Stephenville, Canada, Paul White of Toronto, Canada, Carl White of Stephenville, Canada and Alvin White of Stephenville, Canada; a sister, Catherine Carls of Dayton, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.
