Peggy Harbuck

an Army Veteran after being honorably discharged in 1988, afterwards she began studying law enforcement in which she became a deputy Sheriff in La Plata County, CO. She received many academic awards, certifications, and degrees in multiple colleges throughout her life while raising her three daughters. She dedicated 10 years of her life working retail at Walmart. She received certification to become a correctional officer where she proudly served at the James V. Allred unit and Wynne Unit for many years. She was an avid outdoors and traveling person with a giving heart of gold. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, family get togethers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for having a deep love for all animals especially her beloved "fur babies" Murphy, Tommy, and Sammi.

Peggy passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 surrounded by family at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford, TX at the age of 56.

She is remembered and missed by her parents Ike (Cindy) Harbuck of Driftwood, TX and Peggy (Gary) Boomer of Iowa Park, TX; three daughters, Taci (Steven) Frantz of Ft. Worth, TX, Kimberly (Richard) Cervantes of Iowa Park, TX, and Britni (Aaron) Billen of Geronimo, OK; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister Barby (Jerrye) Hargrove of Wichita Falls, TX, a brother Casey (Tami) Harbuck of Paris, TX, a brother Michael (Jen) Harbuck of Boerne, TX, a sister Melissa Harbuck of Driftwood, TX, step-brother, Steven (Joann) Boomer of Alpine, CA, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
