Ray Mason Rockhold

Ray Mason Rockhold, 65, passed away Wednesday, January 02, 2013, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Rev. Glen Pearce, Pastor, officiating. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Ray was born September 23, 1947 to Darrell and Effie (Duncan) Rockhold in Amarillo, Texas. He married Linda Lollis on September 1, 1978 and has lived in Iowa Park for the past 30 years. Ray worked several years for Gary’s Automotive, as a mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved racing, football, baseball, and watching wrestling with his grandkids. His passion was working on anything mechanical and he loved cooking.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Linda Rockhold of Iowa Park, Texas; six children, Regina Sullivan of Willow Park, Texas; Kevin Sullivan of Iowa Park; Greg Sullivan and his wife, Shellye of Iowa Park; Robyn Faafouina and her husband, Pene of the Island of Apia, Western Samoa; Shelly Amason and her husband, Rodney of Amarillo, Texas; and Terri Clark and her husband, Keith of Oak Wood, Georgia; six grandchildren, Madison Shook; Matthew Cates; Mason Sullivan; Khloe Sullivan; Bryson Sullivan; and Cameron Faafouina; two sisters and three brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
