

LEXINGTON - Alma Jane Grimsley Fletcher, 83, of Lexington, S.C., passed away Friday, July 4, 2025. She was born March 20, 1942 to the late Peggy Barner and William Grimsley of West Columbia, S.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Randall Fletcher and their son, Steven Craig Fletcher of Lexington.
She is survived by her brother, Bobby Grimsley (Debra) of West Columbia; sisters-in-law, Gayle Fletcher, Suzanne Umberger (John); and brother-in-law, Tom Fletcher (Barbara); loving nieces and nephews.
Jane grew up in West Columbia and graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School in 1960. She was employed by Colonial Life Insurance and was a member of Saluda Baptist Church, West Columbia. She and Randall enjoyed traveling and many cruises during their lifetime.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, 7600 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private at Woodridge Memorial Park in Lexington.
