A Memorial Service for Brenda Anne Gibson, 74, will be conducted at 2 o’clock on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at McGregor Presbyterian Church. Rev. Julie Walkup Bird will officiate. The family will receive friends the evening of Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6 until 8 o'clock at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo.
Mrs. Gibson passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rock Hill, she was a daughter of the late Henry Andrew Jennings and Frances Lois Gulledge Jennings. Brenda was a member of McGregor Presbyterian Church. She retired as office manager at Providence Family Practice following 44 years of service. She enjoyed reading, relaxing at the beach and her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Neal A. Gibson, Jr.; son, Lane Stacey Gibson (Katrina Coralee); daughters, Angela Dawn Gibson Streett (Robert), Angelena Hope Gibson McKinney; grandsons, Robert Anthony Streett, Cohen Kelly McKinney, Christopher Isiah Nelson; granddaughters, Jordan Michelle Streett and Kayla Ann McKinney. She is also survived by sisters, Enola Jeanette Riley, Frances Nadine George and Mildred “Mickie” Louise Wright (Tom).
