Chansonette R Storick

Chansonette R. Storick, 80, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2018. She was born on March 6, 1938 in Charlotte to Everett and Gertrude Rowland. Chauncey graduated from Central High School in Charlotte and Southern Seminary Junior College in Buena Vista, Virginia.

She was a majorette in high school and began modeling in college. Chauncey spent most her time raising her two boys in Charlotte but also enjoyed working for Eastern Airlines. Chauncey had a fondness for Siamese cats. Due to recent failing health, she moved to Columbia, South Carolina to be nearer to her son.

Chauncey is survived by her two sons, Scott R. Storick (Whitney) of Boca Raton, Florida and Steven B. Storick (Mary Audrey) of Columbia, South Carolina. She has five wonderful grandchildren, Scott Storick, Jr. (Charlotte, NC), Mariah Storick (Charlotte, NC), Virginia Storick (Dublin, Ireland), Rochelle Storick (Chapin, SC) and Jackson Storick (Boca Raton, FL). Her sister, Ann Erickson resides in Lakewood, Colorado. Her parents and brother, Jack Rowland, predeceased her.

The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Rosalie Browning and her staff and also to Lutheran Hospice for their kindness and assistance.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, October 6, 2108 in Sharon Memorial Park at 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28212.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Hospice of the Midlands, 102 Fortress Drive, Chapin, South Carolina 29036.
