Crystal Renee Lindler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Crystal Renee Lindler, who left us on May 20, 2025, at the age of 40. Crystal was born on July 8, 1984, to her loving parents, Larry and Sandra Lindler.

Earthside Crystal’s family includes her mother, Sandra Dunlap Lindler; brother, Kevin (Ashley) Lindler and sister, Ashley (Michael) Coney. She was adored by her nieces and nephew - Orie, Bradley & Anna Lou Lindler and Aria Coney.

Heavenside she joined her daddy, Larry Lindler as well as grandparents, Maurice and Eleanor Dunlap and WE and Kathleen Lindler. And because all dogs go to heaven, we can only imagine the greeting received by her buddy, Ace.

After losing her father to heart disease, Crystal chose to honor his memory through her work. She was a registered nurse whose passion was caring for heart patients. She excelled at providing both them and their families with a comforting and humorous bedside manner, bringing a sense of ease during their most challenging times.

Crystal was a giver - it was her love language and spiritual gift. Christmases and birthdays were her Super Bowl and she found complete joy in bestowing surprise and delight, especially to her beloved nieces and nephew. She would’ve given them anything and everything within her reach.

Crystal was joy and light, love and laughter, full throttle and bigger than any room could contain. Her humor was unmatched, her laughter contagious and the twinkle in her eye incredibly bright. That is how we will remember her and how we hope you can, too.

What may seem like a period, we know is actually a semicolon; this is not the end. We have full faith that she was filled with a peace like never before and that her daddy who loved her more than life was the first to welcome her home. There’s absolutely laughter in heaven and these two are holding court.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel in Irmo.

Crystal was anything but ordinary and her life lived will be celebrated as such. Bring stories and a side dish and join us as we eat, drink and reminisce - Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. - 1308 Kennedy Road, Lugoff. We want the side stitch stories - the more irreverent the better because that was her best humor.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Crystal’s work in cardio care.
