A graveside service for Donald Herbert Bouknight, Sr., 83, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel.
Mr. Bouknight died Thursday, February 17, 2022. Born in Ballentine, SC, he was a son of the late John “JC” Chalmus Bouknight and Loree Lindler Bouknight. He served in the South Carolina National Guard and was the owner and operator of Broad River Landscaping. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his two sons, Donald H. Bouknight (Lisa) and Todd C. Bouknight (Alison); two daughters, Kim Stokes (Junior) and Jena Kann; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Hendrix (Jimmy); and brothers, Doug Bouknight (Sharon), Dwight Bouknight (Dianne), Buddy Bouknight (Faye), and Boogie Bouknight (Elaine).
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his great-grandchild, Kyron Keith.
