Donna Poole Brown

Donna was born to James and Ola Poole. She grew up surrounded by love and family. She is survived by her loving mother, Ola Poole; her dear sisters, Brenda Snipes (Phil), Judy Orman (Pat); and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Many comforting cards, emails and texts have come in to the family remembering Donna’s faith, compassion and devotion – “I will miss her ever present beautiful smile”; “She was a gift to our Bible study…she left a trail of faith and hope for us to follow”; “Donna was like a mom to me growing up. She has such a special place in my heart”; “She has always been a beautiful example of the vow that the congregation takes at baptism to invest in the Christian nurturing and upbringing of children within the church”; “She was the sister I never had and I could always rely on her to tell me the truth.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Chapin Baptist Church.
