

Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on May 4, 1943, she was a daughter of Charles E. and Lydia H. Ranck. She was the wife of Robert A. Molchan for 62 years, married on November 24, 1962. She graduated from Lewisburg High School in 1961 and later that year completed her studies at the Atlantic Schools of Airline and Travel Training in Hartford, Connecticut.
Donna worked for Western Union in New York City and spent many years as a bank teller in both Reading, PA, and Columbia, SC. She was an avid reader who always had a stack of books by her chair. She loved taking care of her many house plants and enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Baking was her specialty, often making cookies, cakes, and meals for everyone’s birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother devoted to her family, she was always willing to help her loved ones, showing every kindness to her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; children, Mark (Jackie), Michele, Matt, and Monica (Shawn); grandchildren, Jared (Kayla), Josh (Andrea), Jacob, Maria (Thomas), James, Haley, Rachel, Shawn A., Jordan, and Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Josiah, Andrew, Ezra & Adelina.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Trudy Badger and Virginia Criswell.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association in her memory.
