Haley earned her Angel Wings Friday morning, May 6, 2016. Born in Columbia, she was the youngest of three children to Kathryn and Joey Abstance. Haley was a member of Chapin Baptist Church and loved to praise Jesus on Sunday mornings. She was a miracle from the day she was born. Always smiling, happy and full of life. Haley never met a stranger and those who met her instantly fell in love with her. She loved to sing, dance and try to do cartwheels like her big sister and enjoyed playing and wrestling with her brother and cousins.
Surviving are her parents, Kathryn and Joey; sister, Sydney; brother, Luke; grandparents, David and Sandra Abstance, Lennie and Dale Hicks, David and Jerry Nelson; great-grandmother, Janie Goodwin; aunts and uncles, David Abstance III (Mitzi), Matt (Tally) Nelson, Todd (Emma) Ham, Mary Anna (Richard) Phillips, Sally (Jay) Cobbs, and Elizabeth Hicks. She is also survived by cousins, David IV, Noah, Bryton, Hugh, Ellison, Abbie, and Lena.
Donations may be made in Memory of Haley to Hope Ministries, c/o Chapin Baptist Church, 950 Old Lexington Highway, Chapin, SC 29036.
