I’m going to miss you coach. You pushed me at aiken high to be a great offensive lineman . Your jokes we cracked at and you were and always will be the best offensive coach I ever had. I wish I could see you one more time. 

One of my best memories was from our senior year of high school. Jamie and I shared nearly every class together and we would sit in the back in adjacent desks. One day we both got detention for cutting up in class. From that day forward, the teacher separated us and we were made to sit on opposite sides of the room. Right after we were separated, I remember looking back across the classroom at Jamie and he had the biggest grin on his face. I still laugh to this day thinking back on it. I will always remember that smile and will cherish the memories. From little league baseball to varsity football, he was the best kind of friend you could ever ask for. Rest easy brother. 


Jamie was such kind person.  He worked at SHHS with a bunch of remarkable kids who all adored him.  As a parent of one of those kids, it always warmed by heart to see the compassion  he had towards them all.  They always had such fun with Mr. Jamie.
My condolences to his family and all that loved him. 

Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with the family and friends of Jamie today. Although we didn't know Jamie he sounds like someone we would have loved and would have been privileged to call him our friend and coach. Thank you for thinking of Hilinski's Hope, we are vey grateful

Jamie “dirty red” was a dear friend to my little brother Clayton “big red”. He had the kindest heart and his smile was so contagious. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. Praying for comfort and peace during your time of loss. 

This was such sad news to receive. I was involved in DF football for many years and always looked forward to seeing Jamie’s big smile when he played and coached at DF. Such a great guy. Our prayers are with the family, God Bless and rest in peace Dirty Red

Jamie was one of a kind! My first experience of really getting to know Jamie, was when he tagged along with Jimmy to the race at Darlington....looking back now I'm not sure who tagged along with who... but they were together! Jamie instantly fell into place with our circle of friends, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, cracking jokes was natural to Him. Jamie was quick witted and always had a "one liner" on hand. I pray that the memory of Jamie's wit and humor will comfort his family during this difficult time. 

Coach Red was one of the first faces I would see coming into work at CIL @Pinecrest every morning. Our team of Character Coaches became a family. Coach Red was like a son to me. I am going to miss that bright smile and wonderful personality that made him so easy to love.  To his family, my prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Know that he was loved by his CIL @ Pinecrest family and he will be missed dearly. Rest in Heaven Coach Red❤

Working with Coach Red these years at CIL we become brothers family.  We always talked about my Saints vs his Panthers and Bama vs USC .  And he Tex me all the time after my kickboxing tournaments our favorite saying (YOU CANT HIDE MONEY) when I win a fight lol I’m going to miss that. And when I came back from Austria competing he said bring me something back for his birthday and I did. He impacted so many lives of kids and his peers and even myself and I thank him for that. Rest easy

My name is Freddy Hollingsworth and I can remember when Jamie and Jimmy used to come up to the lake and fish and go out in the boat I can thank their I remember that they water ski Jamie really love sports and he liked the water he would come 
see his granddad which is Arnel Hollingsworth my dad I love my family love my brother Jim and I just want to give you and let you know that we've been praying so much for y'all love you appreciate you see you Saturday

This is one of those times when you get news that stops you in your tracks. As a parent volunteer for the football team I came to know Jamie,  and from the first day I met him, that smile was a constant source of happiness.  My heart is with him, his family, and everyone else who feels like me. So tragic.

Coach Red was always a great mentor to my son Aaron and a good friend.   May he find grace, peace and love in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I have quite a few fond memories of “Dirty”. He was fun and always made it enjoyable to be around him. May he RIP. Prayers for family and friends during this emotional time. May God watch over each of you.  He will be missed by many. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We love Coach Red. Red coached my son at DFHS. He made the biggest difference in my kids life. He supported him, encouraged him and looked over him. It was more that just coaching with coach Red.
I went to beauty school and worked with Robin years ago. Although we don’t get to see each other often, I remember when her boys were little. They are her life. I’m praying for Robin & her family. I beg the Lord to wrap his arms around them. Lots of love and prayers from the Malovics.

Coach Red was a wonderful role model and a positive influence in our CIL family. He added something good to every life he touched here, and will be greatly missed by all of us at CIL.  We pray for his family, and are so sorry for the loss.

You are my son's best friend forever. I will remember you as sweet, loving and respectful.  Always laughing and smiling.  You will be missed. We are grieving now but will gather soon as your one big family to celebrate you who touched so many.  RIP❤

Coach Red was such a wonderful and kind person.  He really cared about the kids and did a wonderful job Coaching them.  We are so fortunate to have been able to know him.  Coach “Red” you will be greatly missed.

He was a great coach. I’m gonna miss him so much. It was a pleasure playing for him this season. I really appreciate everything he taught me this past season.

Coach Hollingsworth was great person to be around as well as a coach. He made me laugh personally although I only knew him for a short time. I will miss those words, "Its Easy." Your presence will be missed my friend. Love you, my brother.

Coach Hollingsworth coached our son Hunter this year. He always reached out and checked on Hunter and encouraged him.  Our son thought the world of him and we are thankful we got to know him.  Coach Hollingsworth will be greatly missed. 

Coach Hollingsworth was my sons coach this year at Midland Valley High School.  My husband and I met him at the picnic the football team had this past summer.  My son Christopher spoke of him often and thought highly of him.  We are SO sorry.  Our hearts are so heavy.  We have been praying for the family and will continue to do so.  He will not be forgotten. Thanks Coach Hollingsworth for coaching my son he thought so much of you.

Jamie was an assistant football coach and a best friend!  He will be truly missed!!  My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
