CHAPIN - Memorial Service for John Wilfred Gee, 36, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Chapin Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the home of his parents and Sunday afternoon following the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo is in charge. John passed away Thursday, November 03, 2016. Born in Columbia, he was a son of George Reese Gee and Carolyn McElveen Gee. He was a graduate of Chapin High School and attended Midlands Technical College. John was a member of Chapin Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Christina “Christy” Gee Hickey, Salena Gee (Casie); brother, Brandon Gee (Ashley); uncle, John Gee (Crystal); nieces, Allie, Mary Beth, Gracie; nephews, Landon and Eli.
