Lauren Daniels Lew

A Celebration of Life for Lauren Daniels Lew, 26, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Gateway Baptist Church, where she was baptized. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Lauren passed away Friday, November 18, 2016. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of William “Rusty” Daniels and Suzanne Kaminski Daniels. Lauren was a member of Gateway Baptist Church where she was very active in Bible Studies. Her love of The Lord led her to study at various churches where she met people that quickly became her friends. She was a Medical Assistant at Urgent Care on Forest Drive. Nicknamed Shortcake, Lauren was far from “short” in her life and accomplishments. Anything she decided she wanted to do, she did it, whether it was cheerleading in middle school and high school at Dutch Fork High School, gymnastics at ICA, leading roles in drama, or even the soap box derby, she not only completed it, she excelled in it! Her greatest accomplishment was six years ago when her “Sunshine” Grant was born. Lauren was the mother who played, crafted and most importantly loved her son more than anything. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Grant and his father, Justin Lew; brother, Logan Daniels; grandmother, Betty Smith; numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Lauren will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her…. Fly high sweet angel.
