A Memorial Service for Leonard “Len” Harris Streit, 76, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Mr. Streit passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was a son of the late Irving and Blanche Streit. He served in the US Air Force where he met his wife, Hazel, while stationed in the UK. Len enjoyed traveling for both work and pleasure. He was funny, lit up any room and made people feel at ease. Most importantly, he loved his wife and his family. Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years are his sons, James (Debra) Streit, Andrew (Martie) Streit, Sean Streit; grandchildren, Samantha, Duncan and Laura.
