Born in Sumter, SC on December 2, 1953, Linda was the daughter of Marie L. Ard Hansen and the late John Leon Ard. She was the loving and adored wife of Greg A Ross for 46 years. Linda was loved by everyone that knew her. Her kind, gentle and loving spirit impacted everyone she met. God blessed her with a servant's heart, always concerned and caring for those that she loved. She was not burdened by the love of money or material things and was truly an example of what it means to be “Christ-Like”.
She graduated from Wilson Hall high school in Sumter SC in 1972. Following, she went on to complete the nuclear medicine program at the school of Nuclear Medicine Technology, Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC and served in the field of nuclear medicine for over 10 years. She eventually transitioned over into industrial distribution and excelled in inside sales until her retirement in 2018.
Linda was practiced at the art of stained glass and created many beautiful art pieces that now adorn their home. She was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. For over 20 years, Linda donated to the Newberry Boys Farm in Newberry, SC and to “Our Daily Bread” ministries.
She is survived by her husband Greg A. Ross; daughter, Virginia C. Geddings of Lexington SC; son, Gregory A. Ross, Jr (Kaitlin) of Ponte Vedra, FL; mother, Marie L. Ard Hansen of Sumter SC; sister, Ginger Moore (Tommy) of Rembert SC; and her brother, John Ard (Mildred) of Manning, SC.
Linda loved being “Nana” to her five grandchildren: Olivia M. Geddings, Sauyer A. Geddings and Wesley C. Geddings (Virginia R. Geddings), Gregory Rivers Ross and James Reagan Ross (Alan & Kaitlin Ross). They were her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed by all of them.
