I lost track of Paul after he sold S&S, where I had numerous good experiences with car repairs.  Those were done right the first time or always made right if not.  I missed the notices at the time of his death and only today looked him up after finding an old card while I was looking for something else, hoping I would not find this.  He was a fine man, and I won't hold his support for USC against him.

I knew almost 20 years ago when I first met Paul that he was an amazing man. He loved his family, cars and helping people. He always went out of his way to service my vehicles, put air in my tires for free or let me borrow his Tahoe when I needed to get to work and he had to have my car awhile. He was such an asset to our community and was loved by so many! I feel so blessed to know him and Mrs. Sue! Such great people!!! My heart goes out to all of you during this most difficult time. Praying for strength, peace and comfort for your family! 

My fond memory of Paul goes back to Ohio ....my husband at the time knew Paul and where friends ..... Paul was such a decent good man with such a kind heart .... I will miss him greatly..... and his daughter Lori is just as good and kind ..... Paul helped Steve a lot and my daughter in more ways than I could ever mention .... Sue as well ... they were a blessing in our lives back then .... sincere condolences go out to the entire family .... I will miss Paul .... he can certainly Rest In Peace for a life well lived ✝️

Paul was always a kind and courteous man to his customers at S&S. Thank you for sharing a piece of him with so many of us over the years. 

Uncle Paul was such an awesome Uncle to me  - from the days of stopping at the SOHIO and his guys treating my mom like royalty when we ran over that bell and then I would run in to see him where I got a big hug, and then he would give me change for a bottle of pop!  it was such a treat!! Once grown up and he would visit Ohio and as soon as he would see me..there was a big smile - a “hey baby” followed with a big hug & kiss.   I will always love my Uncle Paul

Our hearts ache when we no longer have our love ones, but we know that our Lord Jesus Christ always works things out for our good.  We are going to miss Paul very much and pray for our Lord to comfort you Sue.  You both have been a part our lives for over 30 years and we love you dearly.  Our memories of Paul will always be of how much he loved his family and made jokes to make us laugh.   We are  thankful and richer that God allowed our lives to touch.   We love you sweet Sue.

I will forever remember him at S&S and the ironclad agreement that he had with my dad, Bill Kollmann about sharing information in regards to any car repairs. I was on a 'need to know' status and apparently I never needed to know! Regardless, we always knew Paul had us covered and took good care of us.

My papaw was a very strong man and always left a small piece of him with those he encountered. I will never forget the memories I've had with him. I'm sad to see him go what seems like all too soon but he is now rejoicing with the Lord. He wouldn't want us to dwell over losing him as a husband/father/grandfather but rather be happy hes out of pain and in a much better place. He will always be loved and remembered by many loved ones.

Harold & Sandy Lunsford, our hearts go out to you on the passing of your brother Paul.  Remember him well when he lived here in Beavercreek, OH.  Our deepest condolences to Paul's wife, children and the entire Lunsford family.  May Paul rest in eternal peace 

I have had the wonderful blessing of knowing Paul and Sue for a little over 10 years now in being best friends with Lori.   I will never forget the day I first met him - we sat around the pool and he asked me all kinds of questions - I think making sure I was suitable to be his daughter's best friend!   We talked for a long time and at the end of the conversation he said "you are actually pretty smart - I thought you might just be a dumb young thing"   That started my love for them because he always kept me straight anytime I saw him!   He always offered advice on anything we talked about and usually told me if I was right or wrong!  Paul always kept me laughing and I knew he loved me cause he always told me to "keep good care of my girl"    I always promised him I would be there for Lori and I will always keep that promise to him.   Just over 48 hours before his first dance with Jesus - He looked right at me and Braxton and told us he loved us!  I will cherish that moment and am so thankful for the laughs, memories, and lessons I learned from him!   

I Met Paul when I was 16 years old, we got married when I was 18 in 1964 and as a result of that marriage we had a beautiful daughter Lori  in 1968.  We were married 23 years  . Paul was there for me when my husband was killed in an accident at work. We remained friends as his wife Sue  welcomed me as well. She was devoted to him to the end , and he found real happiness with her . I will certainly miss him at the breakfast I always prepared on Christmas morning  for him and his family that he so loved , at Lori’s house every year. This is where everyone was together to watch the grandchildren open presents.  Remembering  Paul’s words I wasn’t his ex wife I’m Lori’s mother.  Paul was very family oriented and when we were married everyone always came to our home. After he married Sue everyone came to their home.  I believe he wanted to see his brother a Harold in the end to carry on the tradition to keep the family together taking over for him. That , Harold does already when everyone is in Dayton everyone goes to Harold’s home and  a good time is had by all.   Rest In Peace Paul  a job well done, I know your big sis  Dee will keep you in line as she always has. 

Paul was so special to me.  He cared for others and always wanted to help.  He was a true Christian and talked about Jesus.  I looked forward to going to his work, S & S Automotive.  He was a real man; true, faithful, rough, and loving.  I will really miss him.

Prayers and Comfort. I have so many memories I hold in my heart of  my Uncle Paul. Paul was Caring,Loving,Funny and always there for you no matter what. Lori and I use to spend every weekend together while growing up and many weekends I stayed all weekend. I have a great memory. One weekend Lori and I was so board we decided to throw a party at her house. Last minute at the least. She told her dad and he put us in his van picked up our friends plus bought all the food and we went back to Paul's and had a party. Paul was a great man... Love you all

Lori, Sue and all of my South Carolina family, my heart is broken for all of us.  Paul was my “person” during my teenage years, he even let me drive his 65 (?) GTO when I first got my driver’s license. Thinking. back, that was poor judgment on his part🤣 Paul was just really bad about refusing any requests. During the year my husband was in Vietnam he would stop by often with 2 bottles of Pepsi,chicken dinners and a Mahaffey’s pie. It was a lonely year for me and my baby boy so his visits were priceless!  He was the family patriarch when he came to town,he told us all where we were having breakfast and  probably where to sit!!! We all obeyed faithfully ❤️All that has happened this week is overwhelming but my last thought is “Boy , what an awesome reunion is going on in heaven today “ Ilove you so much, brother and I ‘ ll see you again someday ,🥰🥰.
