He was born in Columbia SC to the late S. Wyman and Agnes K. Boozer. Mr. Boozer spent his life in the family business that developed properties in and around the Lake Murray area. His children have no doubt that he is already telling God how to pave the streets of gold to get them perfect for riding his Harley up there.
Ronnie was preceded in death by both of his parents, his beautiful sister, Gloria B. Baker and brother S. Wyman (Buddy) Boozer. He left behind his legacy in his children: Bevan Byrd; Ronda (Ed) McNeeley; Shane (Kim) Boozer; Ronald/Scooter (Kayla) Boozer and Kayla N. Boozer. He was loved by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Barbara (Ronnie) Mann and Sylvia (Danny) Brannon. Along with many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dejay Morgan, Nick Boozer, Ethan Medley (Grandsons); Steven Mann (Nephew); Todd Briggs and Ronnie Hall (Friends). These few men left an enjoyable mark on Dad’s life. To his friends: Thank You Todd for keeping him on his toes. Thank You Mr. Ronnie for your gentle prayers and talks with Dad that help us know we all have the blessing of knowing we will see him again.
A visitation for Ronald will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Dunbar Funeral Home - Dutch Fork Chapel, 7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, South Carolina 29063, followed by a service at 2:30 PM.
Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association but just seeing your smile on Sunday would be all he needed.
