Rosella Tross Crane

Lexington, SC - Rosella T. Crane, 96, passed away July 1, 2022. Born in Chicago, she was the daughter of Joseph and Marie Trzosowski. She was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Melvin L. Crane and all her siblings, 3 sisters and 1 brother of Chicago. Surviving are her sons, Lawrence "Larry" W. Crane (Rosie), Dennis G. Crane (Dionne), David A Crane (Elyse); daughters, Carol C. Gasque, Marianne K. Crane (Lynda), 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Marcos, Aynsley, Thomas, James, Joshua, Daniel, Bethany; 11 great grandchildren.

Rosella and Melvin made their home in Arlington, Virginia for over 58 years then moved to South Carolina. She dedicated her life to her children and her husband. She was active in the church, (Arlington United Methodist), her children's school activities and the community. Rosella was employed as a crossing guard for over 17 years in Arlington County.

Rosella was a longtime member and Past Matron in the Eastern Star, chapter Unity 201, Ladies of the Shrine, El Menorah and the Masonic youth group Jobs Daughters holding many positions to include Bethel Guardian.

A funeral service will be held at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield Va. at 3 p.m. on July 30, 2022 with visitation following the service. Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery on September 7, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.

The family would like to Thank Lutheran Hospice for all their care during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice.
