COLUMBIA Stephen “Steve” Allen Daniels, 73, beloved husband, father and “Pop” to his adored grandchildren, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Columbia, S.C.
Steve was born the ninth child to the late Troy C. and Addie Stephens Daniels on March 29, 1950, in Scranton, S.C. and spent his early years in and around Lake City, S.C. before moving to Columbia.
Steve joined the United States Armed Forces and honorably served in Korea and Vietnam. After serving in the military, he went to work as a cable television installer and then went to work for Asplundh Tree Company. But above all his most enjoyable times were spent with his grandchildren.
