Stephen “Steve” Martin Hoffert, 70, passed away on Saturday July 22, 2023. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late William Hoffert Sr. and Constance Sara O’Neil Hoffert. He worked in the food industry for many years and was an avid Tennessee Volunteer Fan. He enjoyed spending time with his son and playing golf and watching NASCAR and football.
Surviving are his son, Stephen Blake Hoffert (Alyson) of Chapin, S.C.; brother, William “Bill” Martin Hoffert (Carrie), James “Jim” Elvy Hoffert (Mary), Richard “Rick” Jeffrey Hoffert (Elaine); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, David Allen Hoffert.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
