Betty and all of the family, my heart aches for you. I heard of Wally's passing a week after the funeral and all of you have been in my prayers since then. I think of all the years we were like family; all the church events; the frequent meals in each other's homes; the camping trips. Wally was truly a man of God in every aspect of his life.  He officiated at my son's wedding and at the funeral of one of my grandsons. He will be missed by  so many. May God surround you with his angels and give you comfort. 

I had the pleasure to hear Brother Beasley
preach at the Hartsville congregation. He was so good. I enjoyed his sermons as well as getting to know him. My Mother and Father liked him and cared a lot about Betty Jo and Wallace. Rest in Paradise Brother Beasley, you made the world a better place. I’m proud to have known you and partake of your wonderful sermons. 

I am sad to hear about Wally's passing.  He was my first preacher in my very first church home, Windsor Lake Church of Christ.  I suppose I was 2 or 3 years old when my family became members.  That place and more importantly, it's members, were the people who taught and showed me the love of God through their actions and words.    Even though many years have passed, they are all people who I will forever love and cherish.  There are so many memories....way too many to count.  When I think of Wally, I remember a very calm, peaceful, and patient man.   He was a great preacher.  One of my favorite memories was getting together for big fish fries.  Now, that was some good eating! and fellowship too!  My prayers are going up for all of his family and friends who are grieving and missing him.  I love ya'll.  
Wally, I know that when you closed your eyes here, you opened them in Heaven.  If you happen to see my Daddy up there, tell him I miss him so much.  I imagine if there's fishing in Heaven, he'll have you fishing with him.  I will see y'all when I get there!

Mr Beasley (Pops) will always be remembered as a giant in my spiritual journey. He was my Daddy’s best friend and best man at his wedding. He was always there for my family in good times and bad. He has preached the funerals of all my close family members. I always loved to hear him pray. Especially when he would ask God to give Peace that passes all understanding. I’m proud to have known you! And love you and your family dearly. Until we see you again!

Wally was a special friend, minister and devoted Christian who touched so many people as he labored in God’s kingdom. His family is such an example to be admired of his leadership. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of him on this earth as we pray for comfort and peace for his family. 

I went to Palmetto Bible Camp for the 1st time with the Beasley Clan. I rode up in the white wagon and Mr. Wally assigned me to kitchen duty with them. He taught me the special ingredient for making protein rich mash potatoes that I’ve never been able to duplicate quite like him. He was the master! He always welcomed me into his home, I guess because I was always there and one more didn’t really make a difference. He was the father of my best friends, my preacher, teacher, family,  and just a good quality man of God. I will miss him and want to giggle thinking about how he and my dad are up there in Heaven finally singing in tune together. I will never forget you and look forward to the day when we meet again. 

Brother Wallace baptized me June 27, 1999.  Our families were close because of my Dad and Wallace’s friendship.  May God’s bless him and his family. 

He preached to me for 6 years. We had lots of wonderful times. He taught ladies class and I learned a lot from him and Betty. He helped me raise my kids. Betty, Wally and I made many a visits.  I’ll miss you. 

I remember Wally challenging me to a contest on who could eat the most seafood at a local restaurant. When I was still looking for more shrimp to peel, he pushed his chair back and declared me champion.  My husband Billy Paul and I, along with our three children, Louis, Julie and Christine worshiped at Windsor for years, before going overseas and again when we returned. I have so many wonderful memories of Wally. When my parents came to SC for a visit, we invited Betty and Wally over for some Cajun cooking. We ended the evening with coffee and cake. Wally liked to tell everyone that the coffee was so strong he had to walk in the neighborhood before his heart got back to normal. We will all miss his humor, his help in our needs and his Spiritual guidance to remind us that our goal is heaven. See you there, Brother.

Brother Beasley touched the lives of so many people in South Carolina. He was always ready to encourage and share the Good News, no matter when or where. Truly, his impact will be long remembered. May his family be comforted by God's peace.

God's mighty warrior in slow motion.  How glad I am that Wallace and Betty Jo came to Hartsville, SC.  I would not have wanted to miss my chance to know and love those good and godly people.  The Hartsville church and I are the better for it.  I could fill many pages from my heart.
