Alda "(AL)" A. Neeley

Alda A. Neeley (Al) was born on February 21, 1940 in Jackson, Michigan and passed away at the age of 85 on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in Jackson, Michigan at the Henry Ford Hospice Home after a long health battle. Al is retired from Teamsters #164 from Harvard Industries in Albion, Michigan. He served in the United States Air Force for two years. Al is survived by his loving wife, Mary L., to whom he's been married for 64-years, his children, Penny (Paul) Blossom, Lori (Mark) Kurpenski, Joyce (Terry) Snyder and Linda (Greg) Greenleaf, 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. He is also survived by siblings, Sherry Whitaker, Myrtle Steward, Jim (Sue) Teeples, Gary (Dorothy) Teeples, and David (Judy) Teeples. Al was preceded in death by his beloved son, Allen R. Neeley, his parents, Herman and Martha Teeples and Frank and Elsie Nealey, as well as his sisters Janet Hatch, Hyla Davis and Marie Ide. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, 1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, Michigan followed by interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens, 3744 Brooklyn Rd., Jackson, Michigan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
