In loving memory of our dear sister, Aleta Elaine Walker, who left us on Thursday, December 9, 2021 in Jackson, Michigan, where she had retired.
Aleta was born near Stockton, California and grew from a happy, giggly child into a strong, competent, charismatic woman whose career path in life was the health and well-being of others. Her career in the medical field began as a nurse’s aide in a Hannibal, Missouri hospital and evolved over time into becoming Executive Director of several assisted living communities from New York to California.
In addition to the work that she loved, Aleta’s adventurous side led her to Germany, France, Turkey, Greece and finally her beloved Italy, where she lived happily for a year embracing all things Italian.
Her great loves were gourmet food, both cooking and eating, traveling the world, rafting, flying and socializing with family and friends who were a vital part of her life.
She will be missed.
