Bernabe Arias Morales

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 92. Bernabe was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico on June 10, 1932, to parents Victorias Arias and Juanita Morales. He married Cynthia Morales on November 27, 2010, in Jackson, Michigan. Bernabe was a pastor for many years. In his earlier years, he worked with Pastor Dungy and went to prisons to preach the gospel. He loved to preach and pray and especially loved to argue with other pastors about the Bible as he was always right with his God. He was affiliated with many churches throughout the years. He loved to listen to his radio to hear gospel or country music. Bernabe is survived by his wife Cynthia, children David Morales and Felipe Morales; grandchildren Isiah Morales and Jordan Morales; and siblings Peter Alicea Morales, Nettie Alicea Morales, and Raphael Morales. He is preceded in death by his siblings Felipe Morales, Fransica Morales, Louisa Arias Morales, and Esperanza Alvarez. A celebration of Bernabe's life will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Burden Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49201) at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ross Graham officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Burden and Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
