

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Saturday, August 28, 2021 under the loving care of her family. Betty was full of life and love. She would be the first to tell you how blessed she was and often said, “I’ve lived a good life. Great parents, two great husbands and a wonderful family.” Betty loved her family and had a generous, kind heart. She was always willing to help family and friends when needed. She was a wonderful mother and caring friend to many. Betty took great pride in decorating her home and loved working in her flower gardens. She had a creative and resourceful spirit and once she set her mind to something she made it happen. Her sense of humor was contagious and she always enjoyed having fun. Betty was a long time member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish located in Michigan Center, MI. She was also a long time member of The American Legion, Rose City Post 324 and the Michigan Center Three Horse Club where many good memories were made. She is survived by her children: Patty Herdus, Sally (Mark) Dunlap, Thomas (Joanne) Tribble, step daughter Laura (John) Loos, and step son Reece (Kathy) Ankrom. Sister-in-law Barbara Vincent-Corrin. Grand Children: Kelly (Bobby) Atchison, Dayna (Rody) Valpey, Chad McConnell, Brent McConnell, Karla Dunlap, Kristi (Branden) Johnson, Danny Loos, Josh (Amy) Ankrom, Becky (Bill) Smedley, Katie (Eric) Stapaniak and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Celia and Loyal (Pat) Vincent, her husband Clarence (Hap) Tribble, her second husband Duane (Dan) Ankrom, and her brother Max Vincent. As per Betty’s wishes cremation has taken place with interment at Woodland Cemetery, Jackson, MI.
A Celebration of life will take place at the American Legion, Rose City Post 324, 1190 Falahee Rd. Jackson, MI 49203 on Sunday, September 12 from 1 pm - 5 pm. The family requests that everyone wears a mask for this event.
