Of Brooklyn, Michigan passed away on October 18, 2011 at the age of 69. Chuck was born on March 8, 1942 to O. Edward and Mary Hoover. He worked for the Railroad for many years before gaining employment at Ford Motor Company where he worked for 29 years. Chuck enjoyed Bass fishing and entered many competitions, was a member of the American Legion, supported the Irish Hill Charitable Quilters, loved being on the water and a member of the Evelyn Bay coffee group. Chuck is survived by his siblings, Janice Hoover, James (Denise) Hoover; nephew, Michael and special companion Kathryn Yeider; and friend, Robert Butler. He will be especially missed by his faithful Canine companion, Danny. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday October 21, 2011 at the funeral home at 10:00am. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-8pm. He will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
