

Of Jackson passed away at his residence under the care of his family and Careline Hospice Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the age of 66. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Sammi Ryan; his children Matt Ryan, Kitty Ryan, and Pam Tenney (Kevin) Minott; grandchildren, Kali, Mary, Jordan and Mikey, Jason, Baileigh and Isaac, Donavon and Chloe, Parker, Addisyn and Brett; great grandchildren, Dylan, Aurora and Sam; brothers Tom (Sue) and Jim (Joyce) Ryan as well as many nieces, nephews and loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert and Louise Ryan, he was preceded in death by daughter, Dodie Ryan, brothers, Bobby and Addison Ryan. He was born in Jackson, Michigan on May 26, 1957, and attended Napoleon Schools. He spent most of his career as a mechanic and maintenance man, if something needed to be fixed Curt was the man. With all his accomplishments throughout his career what he was most proud of was his time traveling throughout the country as a stuntman in the Bob Coffey Wild West Show. https://youtu.be/21FsEOb2bW0
Curt also spent many years playing in the Jackson Softball Leagues always joking with everyone he played with and against. He was a proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them as he was lovingly known by most as PaPa. He never missed one of the grandchildren’s sporting events or a good garage sale. A Celebration of his life will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. as well as one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Curt will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
