Deborah Marie Seybert

Of Litchfield, Michigan passed away with her loving family at her side on August 19, 2024 at the age of 66. Deborah was born on July 15, 1958 to parents Walter and Patricia Ritlaw. She married her husband of 36 years, Alan Seybert, on March 28, 1988 in Atlas, Michigan. Deborah was a member at the Allen Baptist Church for many years. She also was a foster parent for 15 years and an adoptive parent. She was awarded Group Home of the Year for Oakland County in 1998. Deborah was also an avid dog and cat lover. Deborah is survived by her husband Alan Seybert; children Christopher Short, Melissa Short, Ashley (Joe) Yocom, Devanna (Jeremiah) Manning, Sarah (TJ) Jordan, and Colton (Chloe) Seybert; grandchildren Jordan Short, Kaylynn Coulter, Davin Short, Isabelle Hatmaker, Savanah Short, Dayton Knapton, Johnny Thompson, Jr., Zander Seybert, Eisele Midgett, Lilyan Midgett, Elyzybith Midgett, Ethan Manning, Sawyer Manning, Weston Manning, Maverick Manning, Braxten Jordan, Hayden Jordan, McKinley Jordan, Cade Jordan, Lydia Jordan, Rose Seybert, and Freya Seybert; and siblings Lisa RItlaw, Kathy Emory, Rick Ritlaw, Greg (Edith) Ritlaw, Corey Ritlaw, Christine Ritlaw, Christal Dillinger, and Cheryl Haswell. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Patricia Ritlaw. A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 12:00PM at Allen Baptist Church (4215 North Edon Rd. Allen Michigan 49227) with Pastor David Wruck Officiating. Family with receive friends for visitation on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 10:30AM until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery, Litchfield Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions can be made to the family.
