Of Jackson, MI passed away on December 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Donald was born on June 10, 1933 to parents Donald F. and Thelma (Crites) Fitch. He married Linda (Davis) Fitch. He worked for many years in Jackson, MI and also for many years at Addison Products. Donald was a member of the National Guard for 9 years. He enjoyed his hobby farm, hunting, fishing, and going up North. Donald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda; children Kathryn (Glenn) Borromeo, Karen DeWeerd, and Steven (Sherry) Fitch; sister Sandra Leavy; grandchildren Melisa (Scott) Oberst, Ryan (Kayla) Keefer, Zachary and Jamison Borromeo, Scott, Lindsey, and Kailey DeWeerd, Courtney (Boone) Schroeder, and Jack and Andrew Fitch; great grandchildren Jacob, Jared, Jayla and Jenna Oberst, Elijah, Sadie and Lawton Schroeder, and Maverick Keefer. Per Donald’s wishes, cremation has been chosen with a memorial to be held at a later date.
