Edith M. Taylor

Of Jackson, passed away July 13, 2011 age 98. She was born December 18, 1912 in Hanover, Michigan. She married Fred B. Taylor April 10, 1934 and he passed away February 18, 1983. She is survived by three sons Donald F. Taylor, Jack L. Taylor and Dale C. (Betty) Taylor; six grandchildren Frederick (Connie), Todd (Andrea), Kim Longoria, Greg, Brad (Jennifer) and Tracy (Doug) LeMasters; 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and one on the way; one brother Daniel (Jane) Lent; three sisters Roseland Hawley, Barbara Smith and Betty Weesner and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband , two daughters-in-law Jeanette and Dianne, two brothers and five sisters. She was a charter member of the Lansing Ave. Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years. Funeral services will be held at Lansing Ave. Baptist Church Monday July 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Dave Oberst officiating. Private Burial Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation Monday 10:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lansing Ave. Baptist Church.
