Edward Thomas Pashion "Pete"

Of Jackson, was welcomed into his heavenly home on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the age of 82 after a long illness. He will be remembered by his daughters, Lori (James) Hamm and RosaLee (Chris) Talmage; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Maegan Budd, Zachary Holwerda, Noah, Karissa, and Jazmine Hamm, and Owen Talmage; three sisters, Betty (George) Campbell, Mildred Cowen, and Nancy Farmer; and one sister-in-law, Marlene Hanna. Pete came to Jackson from Fayetteville, WV in the late 1950s. He retired from Jackson Public Schools in 1994 after more than 30 years of service. He has now been reunited with his wife of 45 years, Gerlene, who preceded him in death in 2007. He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge and attended Northeast Missionary Church. He loved to walk at Jackson Crossing and have coffee at McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. He was a friend to all he met. The family would like to thank everyone at Victorian Manor for their excellent care. Per his wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at Northeast Missionary Church (903 Virginia St., Jackson, MI). The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
