Elarka LaRue Turner was welcomed into the lives of the late Zadie Turner and Clyde Morris (Sonny) Poole, on September 25, 1970 in Jackson, MI. Elarka graduated from Jackson High School class of 1988. She loved to dance, Elarka was the best pop locking female in Jackson. Also, she had a love for writing poetry, growing plants, cracking jokes at which she would laugh the hardest. Elarka loved to accessorize and give to others. Her big infectious smile and the love she had for others will be sadly missed. She is survived by her children Daisha Cooper, Daniel Cooper, Jalisa Turner and Dijuana Turner; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Angela (Mark) Coleman, Courtney (Brandi) Turner, Mariah Monroe, Monica Poole and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a very special friend Daniel M. Cooper. Elarka was preceded in death by her grandparents James (Mattie B) Turner, James Franklin (Mary Alice) Poole; aunts and uncles, Mary Helen Green, Zadie Turner, Judy Ann Allen, Clyde Turner, James Turner, Jr., Shirley Brown, Janet Poole Williams, James Franklin Poole, Jr., Joan Marie Poole and Elizabeth Hicks all of Jackson, MI.
