Eleanor Catherine (Archenbronn) Rolfe

Eleanor Catherine (Archenbronn) Rolfe of Jackson, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. Eleanor was born in Munith, MI on January 11, 1927 to Emmanuel E. and Pauline (Schmidt) Archenbronn. On September 22, 1956 she was married to Richard I. Rolfe and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2000. She is survived by sister-in-law Suzanne Devic and very special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters Helen Hannewald, Wilma McMullen, Marion Stesney; sisters-in-law Rose Ellen Rolfe, Charlene (Lawrence) Murphy, Connie Warner Kathleen Barber; and brothers-in-law Peter Stesney, Martin Hannewald, William McMullen, Frederick Rolfe, Robert Rolfe, Frederick Devic and Claude Barber. Eleanor was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Cotta Missionary Guild. Services will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202) Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:30 AM with visitation starting one hour prior at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Cemetery, Waterloo, MI. Pastor Kurt Lambart will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church World Mission, Trinity Lutheran Cotta Missionary Guild, St. Jacob’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
