George A. Hatler

Of Jackson, passed away on August 9, 2011 at the age of 88 at home with his family by his side. George was born on April 11, 1923 to parents Dillard and Nora Hatler. George is survived by his wife Weda, children, Gail (Cliff) Coleman, Kevin (Kelly) Hatler; six grandchildren, Dawn (Paul) Coleman, Shammy Avriette, Paula (Jim) O’Neil, Melissa (Markus) Coleman ,Ashley (Jason) Haddad, Meghan (DJ) Hatler also survived by nine great- grandchildren, Kendra, Trevor, Blake, Ritchelle, Amanda, Andrea, Timmy, Keairra and Ceairra, three great- great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and sister, Dorothy Toombs of Paducah Kentucky. George was preceded in death by his daughter Connie L. Thomas, siblings, Edward, Vernon, Gertrude. He retired after 32 years of service from Clark Equipment and served his country in WWII. He was an avid bowler, golfer, fishermen and hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Misty. Funeral service will held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:30am at Cornerstone Christian Church 2395 High St. with Michael Mason officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday August 12, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8PM and again on Saturday at the church from 10:30AM until time of service.
