Gladys Annette Wilcox

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 86. Gladys was born in Jackson on April 23, 1939, to parents Theron and Elaine Ramsdell. She married her husband of 53 years John Wilcox on February 15, 1958. Gladys enjoyed her girl's trip with her daughters to the UP every July. Gladys was a nurses' aid for 18 years at Faith Haven Care Home. She also worked at Jackson Crossing for about 10 years as a receptionist. She loved getting her hair and nails done, as well as having family time and summer gatherings. Gladys is survived by her children Deb Trolz, Kim Page, Sandi (Tom) Nucci, John (Rene) Wilcox, and Tom (Lisa) Wilcox; grandchildren Jennifer, Ken (Pam), Chris, Brandi, Eric, Kamrie (Cody), Cory (Andrea), Shandi (Chirs), Tami, Robert (Krystal), and Ava Wilcox; 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 3 special nieces (Sue, Kris, and Lori); and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband John R. Wilcox, parents Theron and Elaine Ramsdell, sister and brother-in-law Garnet and Tom Hull, and niece Robin and belove dog Zoe. A celebration of Glady's life will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, Michigan) with Pastor Scott Eberle officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
