Ida Mae Canada, age 85, of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Ida was born April 8, 1937 to her parents Lynn and Ruth Underwood in Jackson, MI. Ida had a love for traveling, puzzles, knitting and most of all family. Ida is survived by her children, Vicki, Ken, Doug (Tammy); grandchildren, Tom, Andy, Stacey, Justin, Chris, Nick, Lauren, Lindsey and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Thomas W. Canada and her parents. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held for Ida on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Bible Baptist Church (4401 Van Horn Road, Jackson, MI 49201) at 10:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at 9:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens with her late husband. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Church.
