Jean M. Kelley

Of Jackson, 93, passed into Eternal Life on March 6, 2022, under the loving care of the Arbor North Living Center staff and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. Jean is survived by her sister Lois Phillips of Jackson; daughter Linda (Ron) Kretel of Charlotte, NC and son Brian (Karen) Kelley of Jackson; son-in-law Dick Alexander of Berthoud, CO; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. "Pat" Kelley, and her daughter Patricia Alexander, as well as her parents. She was employed by Sparks-Withington, and later Sid Young's, but her greatest joy was in her family and friends. Those who knew her described her as "one of the sweetest people they knew." Jean was a member of First Congregational Church in Jackson, and in later years attended Westminster Presbyterian Church. A Memorial Service will be held at Westminster, 2301 Ridgeway Rd., Jackson, at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 30, 2022, with the Reverend Wendy S. Pratt officiating. Visiting from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to Westminster Presbyterian Church of Jackson. Jean's family is immeasurably grateful to the Arbor North family for their welcome and care of all of us, not just Jean, over the last 9 years.
